Product Review - Hapurs Single Shoulder GoPro Mount

So I've been looking at new mounts and harnesses for my GoPro camera for capturing fishing videos. I had been using a homemade baseball cap mount, but it has several problems. The biggest issue is that it was just uncomfortable to wear for long periods because of the weight pulling down on the front of my head. It would wear my neck out and give me a headache after wearing it for awhile. It was also hot and difficult to make sure the camera was right. Because of this, I was leaving my GoPro at home and missing out on a lot of good fishing videos.

I went to GoPro's homepage when I first started looking into my options and got really worried. First, GoPro does not have accessories designed especially for fisherman. Second, the prices were HIGH! $19.99 to $69.99+ is out of my budget. Especially when I didn't know what I was really needing/wanting.

So after a little research, I found the Hapurs Single Shoulder GoPro Mount on Amazon. I really liked the way it looked and the reviews are decent with 4.2/5 stars for a 147 reviews. And the price cannot be beat at $8.99! It's very comfortable to wear and I totally forgot that I was wearing it after a few minutes. I'm 6'8" and a healthy weight and had no issues getting the straps right and learned how to put it on quickly. The one issue is that most people's shoulder is not level so the camera sits at an angle. I fixed this by pulling the mount down and keeping the camera on the front of my shoulder. I preferred this angle for getting a better angle for fishing.

So at that price,  I recommend this for people looking for alternative mounts for fishing, hunting and other outdoor sports.  Please leave a comment if you have any questions.
